Dermatide Biotec is a Singapore-based biotech start-up on a mission to redefine what active ingredients can do for skin and personal care. Our flagship ingredient, AKNETIDE®, is the world’s first antimicrobial cyclopeptide derived from non-GMO Bacillus fermentation — a genuinely novel, science-backed, multi-mechanism active with a compelling story that practically sells itself to the right audience.
And we’re just getting started. 👀 A pipeline of equally exciting bioactive peptides for broader personal care applications is on its way.

We are looking for entrepreneurial, science-savvy, and well-connected individuals to join us as Technical Service Directors / Managers across four strategic markets:

What You'll Do

  • Be the scientific and commercial face of AKNETIDE® (and our pipeline) in your market;
  • Build and nurture relationships with cosmetic ingredient distributors, formulators, brand R&D teams, and contract manufacturers;
  • Translate our rich, comprehensive efficacy and safety data into compelling, technically credible conversations;
  • Identify partnership and distribution opportunities; support business development efforts with local intelligence;
  • Represent Dermatide Biotec at industry events, trade shows, and customer visits in your region

What We're Looking For

✅ Solid background in biotechnology, cosmetic science, biochemistry, or a related discipline — you need to genuinely understand antimicrobial peptides and what our data means;

✅ Proven track record in technical sales, business development, or technical service within the cosmetic ingredients or specialty chemicals industry;

✅ Deep, active network of cosmetic formulators, ingredient buyers, and distributors in your target market — this is non-negotiable;

✅ Self-driven, entrepreneurial spirit — you thrive with autonomy and know how to open doors;

✅ Excellent communication skills; able to bridge science and commerce fluently;

✅ Fluency in the primary language(s) of your target market is a strong plus, besides proficiency in English.
